North property values top $5.8 billion

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council will set the tax rates for calendar year 2025 at their next meeting on Monday, November 25 at town hall.

The annual tax public hearing was held Wednesday night during a joint meeting of the council and board of assessors in the JoAnn Cathcart Conference Room.

Assessors detailed rises in commercial, industrial, personal and residential properties since rates were set last November.

The town’s property rose $69 million this year for a total of $5.8 billion.

The majority of that hike was in residential property, which made up $49 million of the 69.
