NORTH ATTLEBORO - You’d never know it from posts on social media, but the town is actually "in a good financial position."
Critics of town officials were probably surprised at Tuesday night's assessment of North Attleboro’s financials.
Members of the audit subcommittee were presented the FY25 audit report and findings by Zach Fentross from the firm of CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP; the eighth largest firm in the country.
The report not only pointed out progress made during FY25, but also included a number of recommendations.

A public hearing for Fiscal Year 2027 was held Wednesday night during the town council meeting.
No residents took advantage of the opportunity to comment on the budget.
A vote to approve the budget will take place during the council’s next meeting on Monday, June 8.
