PLAINVILLE - Representatvies from BETA Engineering gave a presentation to members of the town's select board Monday night about the town’s new water treatment plant, progress on a new well and more.
The discussion on the treatment plant included the removal of PFAS, a challenge for the majority of cities and towns in Massachusetts since the state reduced acceptable levels to 20 parts per trillion, the equivalent of a drop of water in a swimming pool.
