PLAINVILLE - The town will soon be hosting dozens of migrant families from Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Town officials were notified by Gov. Maura Healey’s office late in the day last Thursday, September 1 the state would be housing families in Plainville’s hotel and motel.
Town Administrator Brian Noble received the call from the governor’s office and discussed it with North TV this week.

Foxboro, Mansfield and Norton are among the 70 cities and town across the Bay State also hosting migrants.
