PLAINVILLE - When COVID-19 forced postponement of the original date for Plainville's annual town meeting, selectmen chose this Monday, June 22 for the town's legislative body to meet.
Social distancing guidelines also required a new location - King Philip Regional High School.
During their virtual meeting on Monday night, selectmen voted to push the meeting date back again to Monday, July 13. The meeting will still be held at King Philip, but is expected to be held in either the school's parking lot.
Alternative meeting dates of July 1 and July 22 were also discussed.
