PLAINVILLE - Select board members at their meeting Monday night paid tribute to the King Philip football team on their recent Division 2 Super Bowl state championship.
The Warriors mauled Marshfield 42-14 on November 30 at Gillette Stadium to capture the title nine days after blanking Thanksgiving and league rival Franklin 35-0 in a game played at Fenway Park.
