PLAINVILLE - Board of Selectmen Chairman Jeff Johnson and Town Administrator Jennifer Thompson joined North TV for a virtual television special recorded Thursday.
Johnson and Thompson discussed the town’s current COVID-19 case load, the health order on face coverings, updates on the town election, Plainridge Park Casino’s payments to the town, water restrictions, the annual town meeting and the FY21 budget.
The majority of the news was good, in spite of the ongoing pandemic and the restrictions of Gov. Charlie Baker's stay-at-home advisory. Three of the positive topics were the fire department's salute to residents, donations of disinfectant bottles by a town business and the opening of the recycling center for brush and yard waste.
