NORTH ATTLEBORO - It was another busy week for the North TV sports team.
We were at Community Field Friday for North Attleboro High School’s 600th win in high school football, a 42-8 crushing of Canton. Senior receiver Gavin Wells, number-10, caught a pair of touchdown passes, one for 36-yards and the other for seven to earn North TV Player of the Game honors.
Macktaz Field was the site of the Monday girls’ soccer matchup between Oliver Ames and King Philip. Oliver Ames rallied from a 1-nil deficit to overtake the Warriors 2-1. King Philip sophomore defender, Addisyn Lamothe-Vaughn, number-5, consistently disrupted the OA attack throughout the game to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
We were at our third field (the Raymond E. Beaupre Jr. Field) this week on Thursday for North Attleboro’s 3-1 win over Mansfield in field hockey. Junior midfielder Julia Puccio, number-8, scored all three of the Red Rocketeers’ goals to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
Gavin, Addisyn and Julia will each receive personalized DVD’s of their games and Player of the Game tee-shirts in their school colors.
