NORTH ATTLEBORO - Members of the North TV sports crew were busy covering three games this week.
Bishop Feehan’s MacIntyre Gymnasium was the site of the first game last Friday night. The Shamrocks annihilated Archbishop Williams 73-17 in Catholic Central League play. Senior forward Camryn Fauria, playing limited time, outscored the Bishops on her own with 19 points to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
We were back at Feehan Tuesday night for the Shamrocks heartbreaking 67-65 loss to Bishop Fenwick in a Catholic Central League showdown. Senior forward Robert Pombriant led the Shamrocks with 18 points on six field goals, one three-pointer and was five of seven from the foul line to be named our North TV Player of the Game.
The three game stretch ended at North Attleboro’s Pickering Gymnasium Wednesday night. The Red Rocketeers cruised past Canton in Hockomock League action 69-12. Austin Dean, wrestling at 195 pounds, dominated his opponent, building a 10-0 lead before securing six points for his team with a pin in the third period to be named North TV’s Player of the Game.
Camryn, Robert and Austin will each receive personalized DVDs of their game, Player of the Game t-shirts in their school colors and North TV sports bag for their efforts.
