NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town will soon purchase the former Fisher College building.
The town council, by a vote of 5-0 Wednesday night, approved $2,238,750 for the purpose of purchasing the property located at 451 Elm Street.
The building was originally the home of Donnelly Manufacturing and, later, Bristol County Savings Bank offices.
The money will come from ARPA funding the town received from the federal government as a result of COVID-19.
