Residents opposed to 40R housing on Kelley Blvd.

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The department of public works' meeting room was packed Thursday night with residents concerned about 40R housing proposed for the Stix Fun Center on Kelley Boulevard.

Developers had presented a plan earlier this year but were asked by the planning board to make revisions.

The main objection by those opposed to the project is an increase in traffic, especially at the intersection of Routes 106 and 152.

That issue was addressed at the start of the discussion by planning board chair Marie Clarner.
