NORTH ATTLEBORO - After decades of working out with the same equipment, the Red Rocketeers are preparing for the start of the fall sports season in a new weight room.
A fresh coat of paint on the walls, new flooring, new dumbells, new barbells, new body bars, new universal equipment and, oh yes, air conditioning should have teams representing the town's high school teams in prime shape when they take to the field in just over five weeks.
North TV visited the weight room, located in a room off of the gymnasium, on Tuesday to check it out and spoke to new NAHS football coach Mike Strachan and Monday Night Gridiron Club President Kevin Munley about the upgrade.

Strachan and the Red Rocketeers' football team will kick off the season on Friday, September 9 when they travel to McGrath Stadium in Attleboro to take on the Bishop Feehan Shamrocks.
