NORTH ATTLEBORO - If it had been a theater, there would have been a sign outside notifying patrons the performance was a sellout and it was Standing Room Only.
That was the case Monday night inside the JoAnn Cathcart Conference Room at North Attleboro town hall.
The room was packed with senior citizens interested in a public hearing about a tax break for the town's older residents should a new high school win approval during the June 3 special election.
The hearing was the result of a citizen’s petition led by Councilor Mark Gould and promoted on his Facebook page. Gould began the hearing by announcing he was changing the focus of the proposed tax break.

That public hearing and meeting can be seen in its entirety on North TV’s Government Channel: Comcast channel 98 and Verizon channel 23 in North Attleboro.
