NORTH ATTLEBORO - The proposed move of the town's solid waste department under the jurisdiction of the DPW was discussed when members of the board of publlic works met Wednesday night.
Solid waste currently operates as an independent department reporting directly to the town manager.
The move and others are part of a plan to consolidate town departments in hopes of saving money.
