Town closes purchase of former Fisher College building

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town Manager Michael Borg announced Monday night the town is now the owner of the Fisher College building in the Falls secton of town.

The details were included in his report to the town council.

The former Donnelly Manufacturing building and later the home to Bristol County Savings Bank offices was purchased by the town for $2,238,750 from ARPA funding the town received from the federal government as a result of COVID-19.

Monday's meeting was held in the James Rice Meeting Room at the Woodcock School Administration Building due to damage to the lower level of town hall during the September 11 flooding.
