NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town council approved a $98.6 million ($98.665,680) general fund operating budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1 during a special meeting Monday night at town hall.
The general fund operating budget is up from the $93.5 million approved for the year that ends in a couple of weeks.
In addition, $3,293,819 was approved for solid waste, $5.84$5,847,127 for sewer and $4,655,655 for water – all enterprise accounts.
Town Manager Michael Borg and Council President Keith Lapointe opened the vote by thanking everyone involved in the lengthy process.
