Police captain Joseph Direnzo retired at the end of January, town clerk Kevin Poirier retired at the end of his term earlier this month (Patricia McNielly will serve as acting town clerk while the town searches for a permanent replacement), police chief John Reilly will retire at the end of June, as will assistant town manager Michael Gallagher. Gallagher had previously served as town administrator and interim town manager.
