Towns ready for Tuesday's election

NORTH ATTLEBORO & PLAINVILLE - Voters in North Attleboro, Plainville and the rest of the nation will go to the polls on Tuesday to cast ballots in midterm elections that will most likely give Republicans control of the house and senate.

In Massachusetts, the big race is for Governor between Attorney General Maura Healy and former state representative Geoff Diehl.

Voters in North Attleboro will decide if Attleboro Mayor Paul Heroux will unseat Thomas Hodgson as Bristol County sheriff.

Polls open statewide at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

North Attleboro voters will cast ballots at the the town's high school on Wilson Whitty Way off of Landry Avenue.

The lone polling place in Plainville will be the public safety building behind town hall on South Street.

With no local races, North TV will NOT provide live election results on Tuesday.
