US News and World Report recently released its rankings of public high schools across the nation.
King Philip was ranked 68th in Massachusetts and 1,734rd in the USA.
North Attleboro’s ranking was 161st in the state and 4,554th in the country.
Mansfield had the highest area ranking at 55th in the state and 1,445th nationwide.
Foxboro was 82nd and 2,057th.
Seekonk was 95th in the state and 2,364h in the country.
Norton was 138th and 3,719th.
Dighton-Rehoboth was 149th in Massachusetts and 4,243rd in the USA.
Attleboro was 158th and 4,472nd.
Tri-County was 259th in the state and 9,475th in the nation.
Susan LaHoud reported in Wednesday’s Sun Chronicle the rankings evaluated more than 17,600 high schools nationally on factors such as college readiness, college curriculum, results on state assessments, the performance of students who are Black, Hispanic, and from low-income households, and graduation rates.
