NORTH ATTLEBORO - The Raymond E. Beaupre Jr. Field was one the major items on the agenda when members of the town council met in a special session Thursday night, the last day of Fiscal Year 2022.
Superintendent of Schools John Antonucci informed the council last week that the price for a new track, stands and restroom facilities for the North Attleboro High School field project was more than three times the original estimate of $1.8 million.
Thursday night’s meeting was held one night after the finance subcommittee voted to recommend funding the project.
