NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town's World War I Memorial Park may benefit from $50,000 thanks to a matching gift from a town resident.
Officials have been offered $25,000 in a matching gift if the town is willing to spend the same amount on the park.
The offer by North Attleboro resident David Doran was discussed by the town's finance committee Monday night and was recommended for approval to the town council when they vote on the fiscal year 2022 budget next month.
