PLAINVILLE - Optimism wasn’t always a word used to describe the financial picture of the town's government.
Layoffs of town employees, reduced services and the rejection of two Proposition 2 1/2 overrides in less than one year are now in Plainville's rear view mirror.
Town Administrator Brian Noble detailed the progress made in town when he reviewed the past year during a recording of his “Town Administrator’s Report” last week here in the North TV news studio.
