PLAINVILLE - Residents may soon take a big step to reduce the amount of trash along town streets.
Article 19 on the warrant for the June 7 annual town meeting calls for a “ban on the sale of miniature single use containers for alcoholic beverages."
While Attleboro and other area communities are considering a similar ban, approval of the article next month would lead to a ban effective January 1, 2022.
Plainville Town Administrator Jennifer Thompson and Selectmen Chair Brian Kelly were on the North TV set Wednesday to review the 20 articles on the warrant.
