PLAINVILLE - Representatives from Thermo Fisher Scientific appeared before the town’s planning board a week after the ribbon cutting ceremony at their location in the town's business park, .
The discussion of items relating to a certificate of compliance was the first item on Tuesday’s agenda.

During the fiscal year that ended in June, Thermo Fisher paid over $490,000 in taxes.
