PLAINVILLE - The town's representative on the Tri-County Regional School Committee was addressed by members of the select board during their meeting Monday night.
Edward Widak Jr, a member of the select board, has been serving on the school committee for the last two years.
Plainville School Committee Chair Linn Caprarella pointed out that a formal vote on Widak's appointment was never held.
The board then took a formal vote retroactive to 2019.

The select board also appointed Richard Ball the town fire chief. Ball has been the acting chief since former chief Justin Alexander left to take the same position in Easton.
