NORTH ATTLEBORO - The solid waste department announced yard waste will be collected next week, Nov. 3 to 7, and again Nov. 17 to 21.
Waste is collected on residents' trash/recycling collection days, but must be out at the curb by 7 a.m.
It’s important to note the yard waste is picked up by a separate truck.
There is a limit of 14 bags per day for collection, providing that acceptable containers are used.
Grass clippings and leaves, for example, must be in a biodegradable paper bag.
Brush and branches must be 6 inches or less in diameter, less than 4 inches long, bundled and tied with twine or rope.
Sticks cannot be put in the bags.
Bags and bundles must not exceed 50 pounds each.
No plastic bags or loose materials in barrels will be accepted.
No limbs, tree, stumps, dirt, sand, rocks, asphalt, bricks, concrete or yard ornaments will be picked up
