NORTH ATTLEBORO - Deputy Fire Chief Michael Chabot will retire from the department this Saturday, Jan. 31.
Chabot was recognized for his outstanding contributions to the town during a celebration held in his honor Thursday at the Elm Street fire station.
A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, Chabot joined the department in 1997, proudly following in the footsteps of five family members who served in the fire service across three generations.
Throughout his tenure, he held positions as firefighter/paramedic, lieutenant, captain, and was promoted to deputy chief in 2018.
