PLAINVILLE - Residents will find four contested races on the ballot when they vote Monday in the town's public safety building.
The race receiving the most buzz in Plainville's annual election features three candidates running for one three-year seat on the select board.
Steven Albert, Andrew LaBerge and Stanley Widak, Jr. visited the North TV studio recently for a one-on-one interview.
The interview started with why they want to serve on the select board.

The two candidates seeking a three-year seat on the planning board, incumbent Christopher Desprez and challenger Robert Belcher, also visited North TV. They were also asked why they wanted the seat.

There are also two candidates running for one three-year seat on the school committee.
Alex Kenney, a member of the housing authority, and Michele Sharpe, a member of the Plainville school committee, answered the question of why they want to represent Plainville on the regional school committee overseeing the King Philip middle and high schools.

Only one of the two candidates seeking one three-year seat on the board of library trustees was able to come to the North TV studio for an interview.
Lily Quagliozzi was unable to take part due to a busy schedule, but incumbent Paula LaMontagne-Mealy was able to answer the question why she is running for another term.
