NORTH ATTLEBORO - The 40th North Attleboro and Plainville Rotary Club’s Distinguished Service Awards banquet will take place on Monday, March 23 at the Plainridge Park Casino’s Boylston Function Room.
A cocktail reception will be held at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The awards presentation will begin at approximately 8 p.m.
Dr. John Barone, the longtime chairman of the annual event, visited North TV this week to announce year’s honorees.
The Outstanding Citizen award will go to Paul Rofino, the Outstanding Youth award will be shared by Bhavishnu Mood and John Thomas. The Outstanding Public Employee award will be given to North Attleboro DPW Director Mark Hollowell, the Outstanding Educator award will go to Laurie Durand and the Outstanding Senior award will be given to Brenda Watkinson.
