PLAINVILLE & NORTH ATTLEBORO - We’re hours away from annual elections in the two towns North TV serves.
Plainville residents can cast ballots as early as 7 a.m. this Monday, April 6 in the public safety building behind town hall at 190 South Street.
Polls will close at 8 p.m., but those standing in line at that time will be allowed to cast ballots.
North TV will be LIVE from the select board’s meeting room at 8:30 p.m. with election results and interviews with the candidates present on our Community and Plainville channels: Comcast channels 6 and 8.
There are four contested races this year: three candidates are hoping to win one three-year seat on the select board, two are running for one three-year seat on the planning board, two are on the ballot for one three-year seat representing the town on the King Philip Regional school committee and two are running for a three-year seat on the board of library trustees.
Plainville's March 26 debates and North TV's "One-on-One with the Candidates" specials will run through the close of polls on Monday.
