NORTH ATTLEBORO - The high school's annual academic awards are ordinarily announced in the spring during a morning assembly in the Pickering Gymnasium.
The ceremony allows students the opportunity to receive accolades from administrators and department heads in front of their peers.
This is not an ordinary year, however, and this year's awards are being presented as part of a virtual ceremony on North TV.
North TV's Education Channel Coordinator, Jared Ware, has been working with school officials on a half-hour special that will premiere tonight (June 2) at 6:30 p.m. on North TV's Education Channel: Comcast channel 9 and Verizon channel 23. The special will be replayed on the same channel from June 7 through June 20.
