NORTH ATTLEBORO - Anyone who has ever done repairs on an old house knows the cost tends to grow once the project gets underway.
That’s certainly been the case with North Attleboro’s Richards Memorial Library.
A plan to replace windows at the historic building has grown to a nearly $5 million project.
The latest discovery required an additional $986,370. Town Manager Michael Borg presented the measure to members of the town council at the boards semimonthly meeting Monday night.
