NORTH ATTLEBORO - The Red Rocketeers will be heavy favorites when they step onto Community Field Saturday morning against their traditional Thanksgiving Day rival Attleboro.
North Attleboro is a perfect 5-0 entering their season finale while the Blue Bombardiers are 1-and-4, that only win a 31-0 shutout of Canton last week.
Although competitive, Attleboro was kept out of the endzone in losses to Milford, King Philip, Franklin and Mansfield in their first four games; the Blue Bombardiers only points were on a pair of field goals.
Speaking to North TV during the Century Game Media Day on Tuesday, the captains (William Runey III, Michael Strachan Jr., Ryan Grover and Trainor Sherck) admitted they're underdogs entering Saturday’s game. They also wanted everyone to know they’ll be ready when the game kicks off at 10 a.m.
