ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports staff’s coverage of the winter sports season tipped off with two games last week.
We were in Franklin for the Tri-County girls’ basketball team’s 29-5 annialation of Old Colony on Thursday night.
The McIntyre Gymnasium was the site of Bishop Feehan’s 79-50 whipping of Archbishop Williams on Saturday.
Our first Player of the Week was one of the keys in the Shamrocks' big win, Mollie Mullen.
The 5’9” junior guard, wearing number 14, scored a career-high 28 points and had four steals to be named our first North TV Player of the Week for the 2024-2025 winter sports season.
Mollie will receive a copy of Saturday’s game on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in Bishop Feehan green.
We’ll announce our Player of the Week for this week and next when North TV News returns on Jan. 10.
