NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North TV staff was extremely busy last week covering six games in five days.
We were in North Attleboro’s Pickering Gymnasium Monday night for Franklin’s 3-0 shutout of the Red Rocketeers.
King Philip's Mactaz Field was the site of Tuesday’s game girls’ soccer game between Sharon and KP where the Warriors doubled the Eagles 6-3.
We were at Feehan’s McIntyre Gymnasium the next night for the Shamrocks 3-2 come-from-behind victory over King Philip, their second 3-2 win over the Warriors over the past nine days.
The NAHS Beaupre Field was the site of Thursday's 4-1 win by Franklin over the Red Rocketeers in girls’ soccer.
We were back at Beaupre the next night for North's 42-8 trouncing of Taunton in Hockomock League football action.
At the same, a second crew was in Norwood for King Philip’s 28-7 win over the Mustangs in nonleague action.
Our Player of the Week for week three was North Attleboro’s Ryan Bannon.
The 6’3” 225-pound senior, wearing number-44, scored four touchdowns in the home win. The first was on a run of 4-yards, he scored again on a 3-yard run, caught a 25-yard pass from Chase Frisoli, and added one more run from 4-yards out to be named our North TV Player of the Week.
Ryan will receive a copy of Friday's game on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in North Attleboro red.
We’ll announce our Player of the Week for this week next week at this time.
