NORTH ATTLEBORO - Ahead of National Small Business Week, the U.S. Small Business Administration has announced this year’s Small Business Person of the Year winners – over 50 outstanding small business owners and entrepreneurs from across the United States.
The Massachusetts recipient this year is North Attleboro’s Bell’s Powder Coating Inc.
The U.S.B.A. was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interest of small business concerns; preserve free competitive enterprise, and maintain and strengthen the overall economy of the United States.
Bells Powder Coating had been recognized as one of the organization’s National Small Business Week Award honorees earlier in the year.
Bell’s is owned by Nancy Belham, who serves as president, and her husband Paul, the company’s vice president and general manager.
North TV spoke to Paul Belham, who is also a former North Attleboro selectman, about the award.
