NORTH ATTLEBORO - Town Manager Michael Borg’s plan to use $25 thousand in federal aid to help businesses recover from the impact of COVID as a reward for patronizing North Attleboro businesses is a step closer to reality after the proposal was endorsed by the finance subcommittee Tuesday night.
The next step will be a vote by the town council when they meet on Tuesday.
The “Big Red Bucks” program would award people who spend $50 or more in restaurants and stores taking part in the program a $5 gift card.
