ATTLEBORO - The winter sports’ regular season closed out with five games in seven days on North TV's Community Channel.
We were in the King Philip gym a week ago Tuesday for the Warriors’ home game against Taunton. KP had little trouble taming the Tigers and rolled to a 61-38 win, their 10th straight.
Our crew was at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro that next night when the Bishop Feehan girls skated past Arlington Catholic 4-0 for their 13th win of the season.
We were in Feehan’s MacIntyre Gymnasium less than 24-hours later for boys’ basketball action. The Shamrocks cruised past Cardinal Spellman 73-61 on their home court to pick up their 11th victory.
Valentine’s Day night was spent with the Foxboro and North Attleboro boys’ basketball games in the Pickering Gymnasium. The visiting Warriors used 13 free throws to sink the Red Rocketeers 64-56.
We closed out the season Monday at Attleboro High School. The Blue Bombardiers played one of their best games of the season in blowing out Bishop Feehan 84-60 in the semi-final of their Blue Bombardier Classic Tournament.
Our Player of the Week comes from Wednesday’s girls’ hockey cablecast.
Feehan’s Chloe Bryda, number 5, recorded her 100th career point in the shutout of Arlington Catholic. The senior forward scored one goal and assisted on two others in Feehan's big win.
Chloe will receive a copy of Wednesday’s win over Arlington Catholic on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in Bishop Feehan green.
