NORTH ATTLEBORO - What was supposed to be a busy week for the North TV sports crew wasn't because of last week’s storms.
As a result, we only brought viewers two games: North Attleboro’s field hockey win over Mansfield – which was called with 5 minutes remaining due to a tornado warning – and North’s football loss to Foxboro.
Our Player of the Week for week two is from that field hockey game, North Attleboro senior Emily Burnham.
Wearing number 13, Burnham scored the first goal, which proved to be the game winner and was strong defensively.
Emily will receive a copy of the 2-nothing win and a Player of the Week shirt in North Attleboro red.
We’ll announce our third Player of the Week next week at this time.
