NORTH ATTLEBORO - Lyndsey Aubin Benharris, Cari Orsi and Colleen Endres joined the remaining four members of the school committee at the April meeting of the town council Wednesday night one day after Tuesday's town election.
The three women ran for two three-year seats on the committee in Tuesday's town election, but all three will serve after Keith Lapointe won a seat on the town council.
Benharris topped the ballot with 1,759 votes or 40.67%, Orsie was second with 1,365 votes or 31.56% and Endres finished with 1,188 votes or 27.47%.
Endres will complete the final two years of Lapointe's term.
The first order of business at Wednesday's meeting was to elect a chair and secretary for the next 12 months.
