Cates heading back to KP school board

PLAINVILLE - Voters are sending an incumbent back for another three-year term to represent the town on the King Philip school committee.

Bruce Cates was re-elected to the committee for another term, defeating Christopher Brenneis 410 to 323, who is stepping down from his position on the Plainville school committee.

The two men joined North TV's live election coverage Monday night at Plainville's town hall.

The 812 voters who cast ballots represented 10.7% of the Plainville’s 7,634 voters.
