NORTH ATTLEBORO - The North TV sports crew delivered two games LIVE to viewers last week on our Community Channel.
North Attleboro’s Raymond E. Beaupre Jr. Field was the site of the Monday, April 7 Red Rocketeers 10-7 win over Sharon in girls’ lacrosse.
We were down the hill from the Beaupre Field at the William Kelly Field on Wednesday for softball action.
North Attleboro was victorious in that one, as well, crushing Canton 17-1 in a game called in the fifth inning.
Our Player of the Week comes from that diamond dandy.
Senior Maryellen Charette, playing third base and wearing number-11, had three hits, knocked in two runs and scored twice in the Red Rocketeer rout.
Charette will receive a copy of Wednesday’s game on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in North Attleboro red.
We’ll announce our Player of the Week for this week next week at this time.
