Complaints about NAPD discussed

NORTH ATTLEBORO - A week after members of the commission on disability were critical of officials at the town's police department for not communicating why they haven’t been enforcing town bylaws for those parking illegally in handicap spaces and The Sun Chronicle filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the name of the worker killed after an accident at Boro Sand and Stone, the topic was discussed during a recording of North TV's “Up for Discussion.”

Sun Chronicle columnist Mike Kirby and WARA radio’s Paul Healy participated in the panel discussion about why the NAPD isn’t more forthcoming.

Other topics discussed during that recording included LGBTQIA+ rights and the boycotts of Bud Light and Target, the protest over dress codes in Attleboro and whether or not other town should implement them, accusations by a town resident that North Attleboro’s operating and capital budgets for the new fiscal year cater to special interest groups, and the future of the Capron Park Zoo.

That program can be seen in its entirety on North TV’s Community Channel: Comcast channel 15 and Verizon channel 24.
