Council approves $470K in spending

NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town should have a new website by the middle of this year and there is a good chance property values will be changing.

The town council on Monday night unanimously approved an appropriation of $60,000 from free cash for a website that is more user-friendly than the town’s current site.

A new website was one of the points brought up earlier this fiscal year by councilors as part of their goal for town government to be more transparent.

The purchase was recommended by the finance subcommittee at their last meeting.
