NORTH ATTLEBORO - The renovations to the high school’s Raymond E. Beaupre Jr. Field will include a digital scoreboard capable of showing replays, advertisements and more.
While not as big as the scoreboards at Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium, the one approved by the town council Monday night will be a “capstone” to the upgrade of the field.
The finance subcommittee gave a unanimous recommendation to the full council after hearing from Superintendent of Schools John Antonucci.
The council then approved the funding of nearly $300,000 when they met later last Monday night.
