NORTH ATTLEBORO - There’s good news to report for residents who like to swim in Falls Pond.
The health department announced on Wednesday that recent water quality testing has confirmed that E. coli levels in the pond are within safe and normal limits.
As a result, the beach at Barbara Road was reopened to the public
It was the second time this summer the beach had to be closed. Falls Pond was also closed in late June.
The health department added it’s also safe to swim at Whitings Pond, as results were also within safe limits.
