NORTH ATTLEBORO - The town’s desire to dredge the Ten Mile River from Whitings Pond to Falls Pond is a step closer to reality thanks to funding included in the federal spending package passed by Congress last week.
The announcement was made by U.S. Representative Jack Auchincloss on Monday.
Town Manager Michael Borg relayed the good news to members of the town council during their meeting Monday night.
