NORTH ATTLEBORO - It was another busy week for the North TV sports crew with five games in six days.
Our team was at North Attleboro’s Pickering Gymnasium Monday night for the Red Rocketeers 3-1 volleyball win over Norton.
King Philip was the site of volleyball action Tuesday night when we brought viewers Bishop Feehan’s 3-0 shutout of the Warriors.
We were outside on Wednesday for Franklin’s 8-0 blanking of North Attleboro at the Beaupre Field.
King Philip played a Thursday night football game at Taunton, a 28-7 victory for the Warriors.
Our scheduled cablecast of Friday’s night’s North Attleboro at Franklin football game was scrapped due to rain and lack of cover for our equipment.
The week concluded on Saturday with Bishop Feehan’s 31-6 homecoming win over Archbishop Williams.
Our North TV Player of the Week for those games is Feehan's Jacob Ferrao. Wearing number 5, Ferrao caught three passes for 109 yards in the win over the Bishops. The senior wide receiver, a North Attleboro resident, caught touchdown passes that covered 47 and 51 yards.
Jacob will receive a copy of Saturday’s win and a Player of the Week shirt in Bishop Feehan green. We’ll announce our fifth Player of the Week next week at this time.
