NORTH ATTLEBORO - The purchase of the Fisher College building was back on the agenda when members of the town’s finance subcommittee met Monday night at North TV.
The board had voted to recommend the $2,238,750 purchase when they met last month but they were not unanimous.
Town Manager Michael Borg had additional information for the group on Monday.
Fisher College was orginally the home of Donnelly Manufacturing and, later, Bristol County Savings Bank offices.
The town intends to use the building as the new site of the council on aging, senior center, Lenore’s Pantry and a regional food distribution center.
