NORTH ATTLEBORO - Last week was extremely busy for the North TV sports crew with six games in a five-day span.
We were at Bishop Feehan’s McGrath Stadium Monday afternoon to capture the Shamrocks loss to Moses Brown in field hockey action, 3-1.
King Philip’s Macktaz Field was the site of the Tuesday boys’ soccer match between Attleboro and the host Warriors, a 1-1 tie.
We were the Raymond E. Beaupre Jr. Field Wednesday for the Red Rocketeer’s 4-1 win over Stoughton on the field hockey team’s senior night.
Football was moved to Thursday due to Yom Kippur.
King Philip rolled on the road over Sharon 50-0.
North Attleboro wasn’t as fortunate, falling at home to Canton 12-10 for their first loss of the season.
We were back at the Beaupre Field the next afternoon for the Red Rocketeers thrilling comeback against Sharon in boys' soccer. North scored goals in the 60th and 79th minutes to tie the Eagles 2-2.
Our Player of the Week for last week is North Attleboro’s Madison Folan. The senior on the field hockey team, wearing number-13, scored three goals to lead the Red Rocketeers to their seventh win of the season.
Madison will receive a copy of the win over Stoughton on a USB drive and a North TV Player of the Week t-shirt in North Attleboro red. We’ll announce our Player of the Week for this week next week at this time.
